Subcentro was featured in EPAL’s *Águas Livres* magazine, issue no. 259, in connection with a project at Algar das Morenas, a major groundwater reservoir in the Alandroal region of the Alentejo.

Within the scope of its operations, Subcentro installed, 73 metres from the mouth of the aquifer, a water extraction pump and associated discharge pipework weighing 400 kg, thereby resolving the problem of chronic drought that had been plaguing the village of Alandroal.
